In A Different Light is a temporary archive display that showcases recent works acquired by Autograph ABP for its permanent collection of photography.

It is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Collecting Cultures programme, and many works are printed and displayed for the first time. 

Perrier’s work is featured in this selection of more than 50 photographs. 

More than 175 works have been acquired for In A Different Light since 2015. Autograph ABP’s Archive and Research Centre has a unique remit: collecting, preserving and disseminating the work of a diverse constituency of contemporary artists and historical image portfolios that address critical questions of cultural identity, human rights, race, representation and difference. 

Other artists include Raphael Albert, James Barnor, Armet Francis, Howard Grey, Neil Kenlock, Dennis Morris, Eileen Perrier, Clay Perry, Charlie Phillips, Vron Ware and Clovis Salmon aka ‘Sam The Wheels’, as well as London Stereoscopic Company.
