The talk I gave at Morley College, titled “Looking Back to Move Forward,” was part of their Penny Lecture series. This event took place on July 5, 2024, at the Morley Gallery in London. In my presentation, I focused on my extensive career in photography, starting with my early works from my degree show at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design (now called UCA Farnham) and extending to my more recent projects.

I explored the evolution of my artistic practice over nearly  three decades, highlighting key projects that have defined my journey. I also discussed how my work has increasingly involved community-based projects and portraiture. Additionally, I shared insights on how I plan to archive and preserve my body of work for the future.

This lecture was a great opportunity for me to reflect on my past work while also considering how I intend to continue developing my practice moving forward.
